This panoramic photograph of Venice, Italy was taken by James Blakeway. It features the famous Rialto Bridge which spans the Grand Canal, the main waterway through Venice. Venice is known for its waterways, the only form of transportation other than walking. To the left are gondolas, a regular sight in Venice a relaxing way to travel and see the sights. Also common are water taxis and water buses both of which can be seen on the right side of this photograph.
