This panoramic photograph of Munich was taken by James Blakeway. It features central Munich, the capital of Bavaria, with its many churches and beautiful architecture. Much of Munich was destroyed in World War II but most historic structures were rebuilt. Munich was host to the 1972 Olympics and each year hosts Oktoberfest.
